Short version: KeyForge collects nothing, sends nothing, and has no permissions. Everything it does happens locally inside the extension popup.
None. KeyForge does not collect, store on our servers, transmit, sell, or share any personal or usage data. It declares zero permissions in its manifest — it cannot read the pages you visit, cannot access your tabs or browsing history, and makes no network requests.
All passwords and passphrases are generated on your own device using your browser's built-in
cryptographic randomness (crypto.getRandomValues). They are never sent anywhere and are
not logged. Copying a result places it on your system clipboard only.
Your last-used options (length, character sets, word count, etc.) are saved in your browser's local storage on your device so the extension remembers your preferences. This never leaves your browser and we cannot see it.
